Members of the Guild of Book Workers have a wide variety of services and activities available:

  • The Guild of Book Workers Journal, an annual journal.
  • Online Membership directory, please contact the GBW Communications Chair for access.
  • The Study Opportunities List and the Supplies & Services Directory.
  • lending library of historical and contemporary books, catalogs, newsletters and videos.
  • A listserv for online information sharing.
  • Traveling exhibitions of membersʼ works.
  • Participation in the Seminar on Standards of Excellence in Hand Bookbinding (referred to as just “Standards”).
  • Regional chapter activities

The Lone Star Chapter membership benefits includes:

  • Priority notification of all chapter events.
  • Published website link under the Members Connection category on the Lone Star Chapter’s website, where members can publish information about themselves and their work.

Membership Dues

Joining Guild of Book Workers is easy. Basic Guild of Book Workers dues are $85.00 and each Chapter membership is an additional $10.00 per chapter.  Simply join online if using a credit card number or mail in a check. Here is a link to more information.

Renewal notice and forms are always sent to members from the Guild of Book Workers Membership Chairman.
