Field Trip – U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing

The U.S. Dept. of Treasury’s Bureau of Engraving and Printing has only two branches in the entire country, one in Washington DC and the other just north of Fort Worth, TX. (website)  This gives Texans in particular a unique opportunity to experience the process, the art, and the history of America’s paper currency.

Members of the Lone Star Chapter of the Guild of Bookworkers will be meeting at the Bureau’s Western Currency Facility for a group field trip on Friday Nov. 18th at 10:30am and we invite you to join us.
